Inheritance Debt,
released April 20, 2022
There is no comfort in this world. We’ve inherited hell.
The sins of the fathers are ours to dispel.
We can’t outgrow their shadow without any light.
This life of suffering is our only birthright.
The world burns at all ends and we struggle to breathe.
As those mourning it’s death bear the scent of gasoline.
We are the product of poisonous greed, the unwanted children of corrupt power.
Smiling upon the ruins of their ivory towers.
Forgive us for this sardonic view but it’s all that we have to look forward to.
You forced this hand. You’re to blame.
You built a house of cards to raise this lake of flame,
That set ablaze your history, erasing your name.
Bathe now in the pyre and wash away the shame.
Let it all burn.
